My Mothers Memories ~ Full Size

This Kit is full of My Mums Memories of growing up as a young child sitting around the radio at nights after dinner
and talking about the hard days work on the farm and what was accomplished, listening to Grandad playing the mouth
organ or the piano accordian, listening to their precious LP Records, using the old bakelite telephone if one
could get through to the telephone exchange through the party line which was a minimum of 6 subscribers, her
brothers and sisters making their own amusement for fun etc, etc. It was a life of hard work, going to catch the ferry
to get to the city once a month to buy everything needed to get them through until the next month, riding to
school (a one room, 10 pupil, one teacher school - with my Aunts and Uncles being 9 of the pupils lol) on their horses so they can get home in time to do the milking. I remember my Aunties and Uncles talking about the happiness of their
days spent as a child.

This Kit is full of My Mums Memories of growing up as a young child sitting around the radio at nights after dinner
and talking about the hard days work on the farm and what was accomplished, listening to Grandad playing the mouth
organ or the piano accordian, listening to their precious LP Records, using the old bakelite telephone if one
could get through to the telephone exchange through the party line which was a minimum of 6 subscribers, her
brothers and sisters making their own amusement for fun etc, etc. It was a life of hard work, going to catch the ferry
to get to the city once a month to buy everything needed to get them through until the next month, riding to
school (a one room, 10 pupil, one teacher school - with my Aunts and Uncles being 9 of the pupils lol) on their horses so they can get home in time to do the milking. I remember my Aunties and Uncles talking about the happiness of their
days spent as a child.
