Winter Gold

Designed with a colour palette of white and golds, you may think that is where the name for this kit came from, and you are half right.  This is my first Christmas without my parents, both of them having died this year mere months apart.  When I think of them, and the wonderful family times we had, I almost always think of the holidays.  Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's house (without fail!)  Christmas Eve, reminising about when we were children when we still believed in Santa and of course watching the ball drop on New Year's Eve.  This is the first Christmas kit I have ever made, and the whole time I was designing it, I kept regressing back to those wonderful, laughter filled holidays we had.  That's why it is called Winter Gold, because the memories that I have of them are more my gold, because they are so precious to me.
